Sarah Parks is a social worker from South Carolina who first felt the call to work with the homeless population of New Orleans in 2003 after spending a summer volunteering with a local transitional housing program for homeless women and children.
Melissa recently graduated with her Bachelors in Social Work from Northwestern State University and will be heading to LSU to pursue her Masters of Social Work in the Fall.
Chris Beary is a local attorney, CPA and entrepreneur who is a native New Orleanian. Traveling under the Pontchartrain Expressway several times a day, he felt compelled to start a ministry that would provide for the homeless’ basic needs of food, water and God’s love.
