On any given night, over 580,000 individuals are suffering from homelessness in the United States. Many of these individuals lack the necessities to meet their basic needs. Grace at the Green Light is here to help provide for those basic needs–food, water, hygiene, and community. Join us in helping those in our local community.

We serve breakfast 7 days a week 365 days a year. Volunteers can help serve breakfast from 6:15 AM – 7:30 AM any day of the year. Breakfast is served at the Ozanam Inn (2239 Poydras St).
We consider basic needs to consist of food, water, hygiene, and community.
Community starts with a meal served with Grace. We love to create spaces where community can grow – like taking clients to Jazz Fest.
Did you know that each year 4,000 people in New Orleans experience housing instability? Our services have become a consistent beacon of help when our neighbors fall into hardship. We believe ALL those in need deserve access to care – no one is turned down!
Put together some hygiene bags! Often times, the unhoused lack consistent access to items like: toothpaste, toothbrushes, razors, soap, etc. You can help by passing out some bags, or donating them for us to pass out.
