Laurent Found A Home with Grace’s Assistance!

We are so excited that many of our clients have been able to move into housing recently. One of these, is our dear friend, Laurent. Laurent had been homeless since 2020 and moved to New Orleans from Detroit as he could not endure the harsh winters on the streets up north. He has been part of our community for over a year, and our program manager, Melissa, worked diligently to assist him with further resources. We are excited to say that Laurent is now in his own apartment! While housing is not one of our main programs, we work diligently with other local agencies every day to assist our clients in gaining housing. We, at Grace at the Green Light, believe housing is a human right and we are so excited for Laurent to begin settling in his new home!
