Kay is Going Home to San Antonio, TX

She’s determined to make the best of the hand life has dealt her. Kay came to New Orleans in search of better opportunities. Although she struggles with asthma, epilepsy, and a heart condition, she was determined to build a better life for herself after experiencing repeated bouts of homelessness. But her living situation fell through again when her family here could no longer afford to house her. She has been living on the streets of New Orleans since April, and hopes to reunite with her sister in San Antonio, TX.
