When F came to Grace at the Green Light, he was ready to make a change.
He had recently returned to New Orleans after struggling with his sobriety in the aftermath of his father’s death. It had been a hard season, but F was determined to get back on track—and he knew he needed structure and support to do it.
That’s when he asked for help getting to a men’s recovery program out of state.
Through our Going Home program, and with support from donors like you, we were able to provide F with a bus ticket, a snack bag for the trip, and transportation arrangements for when he arrived.
Everything he needed to take the next step toward recovery was in place.
