Cedric is Going Home to Houston, TX

Meet Cedric! Cedric came to New Orleans from Houston, TX to see a specialty doctor that was recommended to him. Upon arriving, Cedric’s bank put a hold on his card after seeing charges made in an unfamiliar city. Unfortunately for Cedric, his bank only had locations in Texas, leaving him without a way to pay for food, shelter or find a way home. Cedric had been unsheltered in New Orleans for 7 days before hearing about Grace at the Green Light. We were able to help Cedric charge his phone to make contact with a friend back home who was more than willing to vouch for him.
