I was raised in Mandeville, LA and attended Louisiana State University from 2003 – 2009, where I earned a Bachelors of Science and a Master of Science.  After taking a new job with UPS,I relocated to New Orleans in 2012.  In 2016, I became involved with Grace at The Green Light after seeing my brother and his work group volunteer to serve breakfast.  In our time helping serve, we learned about the mission of Grace .  My husband and I have fallen in love with the people who make it happen and even more so, the people it serves.  We became weekly volunteers to serve breakfast and made some wonderful friends along the way.   We have seen firsthand the impact a warm meal and a safe place to eat can have on someone.  With two young daughters, we hope to show them that our time on earth is to be spent caring for others in the most simple of ways.  I’m proud to serve on the Board and I am excited to be a very small part of a BIG impact on the City of New Orleans.
